Referrals
An orthodontic practice, to a large extent, is based on referrals from the patients. Should you refer any of your friends to this practice, please let us know or have them tell us. We would like to thank you personally for such a kind gesture. It is one of the nicest compliments you can give an office.
Insurance
We are happy to cooperate with families who are covered by dental insurance. So you are fully aware of your policy and any limitations of the benefits provided, we ask that you read through your policy thoroughly.
Although your insurance company may base its allowances on a fixed fee schedule, it may not coincide with our customary fees. All of our patients, regardless of whether they have insurance or not, are charged the same customary fees for services rendered. Please be aware that insurance companies vary in their coverage and allowances. In addition, some companies are more prompt in their reimbursement than other companies.
Because we have no control in how quickly your insurance company will pay us for our services, we ask that you familiarize yourself with their reimbursement policy. In accordance to our policy, patients are expected to pay for services rendered and submit claims to your insurance company for reimbursement. You should be reimbursed by your insurance company according to the terms of your contract with them. It is our obligation to provide you with the necessary information initially to ensure you receive the reimbursements entitled to you. If in the future, your insurance company needs any additional information, we will be happy to provide you with that information. Please also remember to sign the blank that requires payments to be sent to the dentist.
We are committed to treating all of our patients’ accounts (insured or not) the same. We will provide you with an estimated fee along with your contract and payment schedule. We request that a down payment be paid at the start of treatment and the remainder be pain in monthly installments.
If you have any questions concerning our payment or insurance policies, please call our office at (806) 353-3593.
